Synopsis

Lesson Outline

(Opening / setup)
Participants kneel, place the top of the head on a soft support, and organize the hands and head into a large, clearly defined triangle to establish a safe base for weight transfer.

1a.
Slow rolling of the head forward and backward with help from the hands and pelvis to soften and lengthen the neck muscles while keeping pressure light and controlled.

(Rest)
Lie on the back to sense changes.

2.
From lying on the back, legs are lifted and allowed to fall freely to the floor to differentiate letting go from forcing, and to clarify leg–pelvis coordination without lifting the pelvis.

(Rest)

3a.
Return to kneeling head support; begin circular shifting of pressure on the top of the head, using hands to regulate load.

3b.
Pause to imagine and think the circle, refining awareness of where pressure moves on the head and improving precision.

3c.
Reverse the direction of the circle, maintaining orientation of the nose and avoiding pressure on the forehead.

(Rest)

4.
From lying on the back, legs lift as the pelvis lifts when the legs descend, training safe falling mechanics with the head remaining supported and learning where the feet must land.

(Rest)

5.
Return to the triangle; lean on the toes and lift the knees, raising the pelvis and sensing the possibility of vertical support.

5a.
With knees lifted, walk the feet forward and back, keeping the pelvis high and knees airborne to prepare for controlled inversion.

(Rest)

6.
From the same position, walk forward and place the right knee onto the right elbow, then return it to the floor, refining asymmetrical control.

6a.
Repeat on the other side, placing the left knee on the left elbow, emphasizing pelvic height as essential for success.

(Rest)

7a.
Alternate knees onto elbows while progressively walking the feet closer, learning how both knees can eventually balance on the elbows through slow, precise organization.

(Rest)

8.
Final integration: revisit the falling pattern from lying, letting the legs fall before the pelvis, then lie completely still to allow the nervous system to integrate the lesson.
