Synopsis
- Supine, one foot standing, arm beside ear. Lift hip to roll to side and lengthen the arms
Lesson Outline
- Supine, stand right foot, stretch left arm overhead, right arm palm up
- lift right hip and roll pelvis left
- and roll head left
- Resume: lift right hip,
- but now roll head right
- right arm moves towards right foot
- stay hip lifted, roll head left, and right, lengthening arms all the while
- Stand left foot, stretch right arm over head
- Lift left hip and roll pelvis right
- and now roll head right
- Resume: lift left hip
- but now roll head the opposite direction (left)
- left arm moves towards left foot
- Stay hip lifted, roll head right, and left, lengthening arms all the while
- Stand right foot, lift hip
- Slide right hand to right heel and hold
- Lower and lift the right hip
- Lift hip, stay, lift toes. Go fast, go slow
- Lift and lower right hip
- Slide right hand to right heel and hold
- Stand right foot, lift hip
- Slide right hand under right heel
- Lift hip, stay, lift toes then foot, stand only on heel
- With hand under heel, lift and lower hip. Compare
- Slide right hand under right heel
- Stand left foot, right arm overhead.
- Lift left hip, slide left hand under heel
- Lift and lower hip
- Lift hip, stay, lift toes
- Lift toes and foot, rest only on heel. Go fast, go slow
- Lift and lower left hip
- Lift left hip, slide left hand under heel
- Stand left foot, lift hip, slide hand under left heel
- Lift toes then foot
- Stand right foot, lift hip, slide right hand under arch
- lift and lower hip
- With lifted hip, lift toes.
- Also lift toes and foot
- Compare hip lift again
- Repeat to the other (left) side: stand left foot, slide hand under arch, lift hip
- With lifted hip, stay, lift toes
- Lift toes and foot, rest only on heel
- Compare hip lift again
- Stand right foot, slide hand under arch, lift and lower hip
- With left hand under head, lift head towards right knee
- Lift right foot and head simultaneously
- Compare hip lift again
- With left hand under head, lift head towards right knee
- Stand left foot, hold left arch in hand, lift and lower hip
- With right hand under head, lift head towards left knee
- Lift left foot and head simultaneously
- Compare hip lift again
- With right hand under head, lift head towards left knee
- Stand and walk
