- In Vacuuming, the stance is very similar to the shape we made in the the lesson. That is, lying on the floor, with one leg bent & standing, the other leg turned outward, raised, straight. Rotate this in your mind to standing and you get the approximate position of the woman at the right.So, as I did the vacuuming I did some of the movements in the lesson – and by golly, the vacuuming became easier! Of course, I had to do something a little different with my shoulders and arms to connect with the pelvis — and I guess that is another lesson. — Rob Black
