Synopsis

Lesson Outline

  1. Sitting crossed-legged, left arm extended in front of the body, turn the whole arm around itself (till palm looks outside or even up to the ceiling).
    • Interlace fingers of right hand into left hand, lift arms slowly up to ceiling.
  1. Lie on back, extend left arm up to ceiling.
    • Turn left arm around itself like before.
    • Interlace fingers of both hands and lower the arms down to the floor, above the head, many times. Start bending elbows.
  1. Sitting, legs crossed, left arm extended forward.
    • Turn left arm around itself – till palm looks outside or up to ceiling.
    • When left palm looks outside interlace fingers of right hand into left. Start bending elbows and extend them again, many times. When you bend elbows, hands invert and fingers point to the chest, when extending fingers point forward.
  1. Lie on back, extend arms to ceiling and interlace hands.
    • Bring arms to the floor above your head, start bending elbows and bring hands closer to head, then extend arms again. When interlaced hands come closer to head, lift the head from floor.
    • Go on with the movement, but invert hands when they come closer to head (fingers point down to back) – then extend the arms again and straighten hands. Repeat until it is easy.
  1. Sitting crossed-legged, extend left arm in front, turn left palm outside and interlace fingers of right hand. Change interlacing to non-habitual.
    • Turn arms-inside out and extend them again (invert the hands), fingers interlaced all the time.
    • Extend arms above head, bend elbows, hands interlaced go behind head, invert hands and extend arms again.
    • Alternate: once invert hands above head and once in front of the chest,
  1. On the back, extend left arm to ceiling, turn and interlace (non-habitual) with fingers of right hand.
    • Stand left foot and push – rolling the whole body to the right, arms go down to the floor.
    • Continue the same movement, but differentiate head, head rolls to the other side.
  1. On the back, extend arms to ceiling, turn left arm and interlace with right hand (habitual), stand right foot.
    • Push with right foot and let whole body turn to the left, arms extended touch the floor.
    • Differentiate movement of the head – head and eyes go to the opposite direction.
  1. Sit crossed-legged, change crossing of legs. Place right hand behind head (neck or lower down) – from above.
    • Take hold of right elbow with left hand, from above –push right elbow softly downwards – direction of floor (with help of left hand).
    • Slide right hand from one shoulder blade to the other, softly.
  1. Sit, legs crossed, place right hand behind back (from below, not above head), fingers point upwards.
    • Turn right hand over, once the palm once the back of the hand touches the back.
  1. Sit, legs crossed, place left hand behind head or lower down, push with right hand left elbow, so that left hand can go down a bit.
    • Change position of left hand- bring it behind back from below, fingers point upwards. Start turning left hand, once touch the back with the palm once with the back of the hand.
    • Leave it, extend left arm in front, turn it and interlace with right hand. Start bending elbows and inverting hands.
    • Continue inverting hands but bring slowly arms higher up till you can invert hands behind the head.
    • Do some of these movements in front.
  1. On the back, extend left arm, interlace with right hand.
    • Bring arms extended and interlaced behind the head to the floor, lift head and invert hands (bending elbows).
  1. Come to standing, interlace hands, invert hands in the front and then above and behind the head. Slow movements, easy, comfortably.
