Synopsis
- Continuing from ay#89, lengthening the arm with the legs crossed (but mostly lying on the back rather than sitting)
Lesson Outline
- Lying face up, open the R leg to the side and place the R foot by the L knee; then place the L ankle on the inside of the R knee and open the L knee. (This is not the only possible interpretation of the position.) Take arms overhead; make a first with the R hand and take the R wrist with the L hand to pull and lengthen.
- Change arms.
- Other side.
- Mysterious position. Take arms overhead; make a first with the R hand and take the R wrist with the L hand to pull and lengthen.
- Change arms.
- Other side of mysterious position.
- Stand on the knees and take the head (as in 89) and lengthen away from the pelvis.
- Same thing lying on the back, feet standing.
- Then lengthen the L leg and put the sole of the R foot near the inside of the leg at the knee, and place the L ankle on the R knee (as in 1).
- Lengthen head.
- Pull R arm.
- Leave R arm long and do see-saw breathing.
- Lengthen head and do see-saw breathing.
- Change legs. Lengthen head up and do see-saw breathing.
- Pull R hand.
- Pull L hand.
- Position of 3. Lengthen head up and do see-saw breathing.
- Pull R hand.
- Pull L hand.
- Other side.
- R foot standing; lengthen arms overhead and pull L arm (hand in fist) with R arm. Roll completely onto side, look at hands…back of head on floor…and do see-saw breathing.
- Other side.
- Stand on knees, and lengthen head away; come up onto one foot and the other without interrupting the breathing and lengthening.
